- Drain the water in the aquarium a little. About 20%, more or less.
- Get the new water. It should not have chemical elements (discard those containers in which they have previously fallen) or be from the tap. It is advisable that it has been resting for a few hours so that the remaining minerals are gone.
- With an algae scraper, clean the crystals. The objects must be removed and cleaned with water and 10% bleach. Rinsing them and letting them air dry is essential. The stones must also be cleaned with a siphon. The dirt must be stored in another container.
When everything is clean, add the new water. Make sure it's the same temperature as the old one.
