Betta fish diseases

El Betta fish is one of the species most prone to suffer illnesses although most with proper care can be cured. One of the most frequent diseases is that derived from fungi or better known as fungal disease and usually arises when the tanks in which they are found are not properly treated with salt.

If the betta fish shows a paler hue than normal and white cotton-like areas in his body is that he has a disease derived from fungi and for now, being contagious, the first thing to do is isolate the fish and treat it.

Betta fish may have a bacterial infection if on inspecting the eyes one or both protrude from his head. This is a symptom of a bacterial infection called popeye's eye. Your fish may have developed this disease due to dirty water in the tank or due to a more serious illness, such as tuberculosis. Unfortunately this disease there is no cure.

Another disease is that you suffer from ich. Its main characteristic is that the fish has white specks or spots. And so the fish scratches against the walls of the aquarium. The eIch disease attacks fish that are stressed due to uneven water temperatures and fluctuations in water pH.

If you have swollen scales you suffer from dropsy a bacterial disease that can lead to kidney failure and fluid build-up or swelling. This disease can arise from poor water conditions or having eaten contaminated food. There is no cure for dropsy, but it can be avoided if your fish does not eat live worms and contaminated food.

If your fish's tail or fins are worn or appear discolored are symptoms of a bacterial infection that causes your fish's fins, tail, and mouth to rot. The rot arises from a poor condition of the aquarium or because other fish bite it. It has a remedy because it mostly comes out again, although not with the same color as its original.

How are you, beautiful your way of expressing yourself about aquatic life and I share it.
I have a problem with my Betta, I have the photo of him but I cannot share it by this means. His skin on top and very close to his eyes began to fade and took on a whitish hue. I do not know what it could be. I stop eating but when I put it in my community fish tank with water at 29 degrees it started to drink again. I'm treating it with salt but I don't know what else to do. My wsp is 930944173. If you could help me ..
    Thank you in advance.
